Tumazos CFA, Securities Analyst and CEO.  Metals industry securities analyst since 1979 at Morgan Guaranty Trust, Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., DLJ, Bernstein and Prudential Financial.  Founded JTVIR, LLC in August 2007.  Ranked #1 in 2009 and 2010 for the performance of our research recommendations globally among 250 research providers by First Coverage Inc.  Provide institutional research on metals, forest products and associated resources to roughly 40 institutions in North America.  Corporate advisory clients included Augen Gold, Tara Gold, Tara Minerals, Paramount Gold and Silver, Appia Energy, Texas Rare Earth Resources and Galway Resources.  Advised 12 different gold mining companies in various transactions, valuation opinions or litigation valuations since 1985.  Various public securities offerings in gold, steel, aluminum, uranium and other industries. Alicia Aydin, Manager of Operations.  Responsibilities include financial accounting, banking, invoices, bills, purchasing, conference administration, office administration, weekly databases of Shanghai, LME and Comex data and other items.  A Mexican native, Alicia retrieves Chilean or Peruvian copper statistics, monitors Colombian environmental propaganda and other Latin American literature as we require in Spanish. 

Mike Costa, Institutional Salesperson.  He has 15 years of institutional sales experience.  Opened fourteen client accounts in New York, Boston, Connecticut and Baltimore since 2009.  Bachelors of Science, Syracuse University, 1991.

Skip Carpenter, Managing Director.   Chief Compliance Officer, Director of Marketing, conference administration, legal agreements, corporate advisory projects, new product development and other management tasks.  Joined us from Morgan Stanley, February 2010.  Previously worked as a Beverages and Packaging senior research analyst at DLJ, Credit Suisse and Thomas Weisel for fourteen years.  Was Nonferrous Metals research associate for John Tumazos at DLJ 1992-94, and visited Barrick Gold, Newmont Mining, FCX and Phelps Dodge in western U.S.  MBA from University of Michian 1991 and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Duke University 1988.

Charles Tumazos, Securities Analyst and CFA Level 1 candidate.  Responsibilities include conference execution and institutional marketing outcalls.  Research coverage includes fertilizers (under development), Duluth Metals, PolyMet and small capitalization mines.  Has visited ABX, Coeur d’Alene Mines, Klondex Mines, Meadow Bay Gold, Solitario Exploration & Royalty, Pilot Gold, Galway Resources, Paramount Gold and Silver, Quaterra Resources and Entrée Gold each in Nevada.  Bachelors of Applied Sciences, Palm Beach State College May 2011.

Matt Van Cleve, Securities Analyst and CFA Level 1 candidate.  Coverage includes Royal Gold, Franco-Nevada and Silver Wheaton.  Has visited Silver Wheaton, Franco Nevada, Platinum Group Metals, Capstone Mining and Prophecy Platinum’s Wellgreen property in Yukon.  M.S. in Biomedical Engineering, N.J. Institute of Technology May 2011 and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, The College of New Jersey May 2010.

Micheal Foley, Securities Analyst and CFA Level 3 candidate.  Backs John up on Big Six diversified mines and nonferrous base metals.  Has visited HudBay Minerals in Peru,  HudBay Minerals in Michigan, VG Gold in Timmons, ON and other companies.  Joined us directly after Brown University B.S. in Mathematics and Economics, May 2009.

Joseph Reagor, Securities Analyst and CFA Level 1 candidate.  Backs John up forest products, gold and steel.  Responsibilities include IT, web site and employee benefits.  Has visited Smurfit Kappa in France, Tirex in Albania, Goldcorp, Tara Gold and Tara Minerals in Mexico, Domtar in Montreal, International Paper Louisiana-Pacific and zinc mines in Tennessee, steel producers in PA and other companies.  Joined in September 2007 after previous consultant work confirming gaming industry equipment paid out legal odds.  Monmouth University B.S. in Mathematics and Economics, May 2006.
